The NAT?s chocolate exhibition opens on October 12, 2012 and runs to March 10, 2012. MSSD issued their support of the exhibition and released their 5 chocolate food facts. MSSD specializes in providing guidance to students interested in becoming a massage therapist or other natural health practitioner by attending a massage school in San Diego. They also support healthy living by way of exercise, eating well, and managing life stresses.
MSSD believes The Nat?s chocolate exhibition will help to educate the general public and consumers of the history of chocolate, chocolate benefits, and popularity of the cacao bean.
Some of the tips released by MSSD include:
-Consuming a moderate amount of dark chocolate daily, approximately 1 ounce, may benefit heart health as chocolate contains a flavonoid called Epicatechin.
-Chocolate also contains an alkaloid called Theobromine, which has higher concentrations in dark chocolate. Theobromine has been used in modern medicine to help with high blood pressure by dilating the blood vessels.
Massage School San Diego welcomes back the chocolate exhibit to The Natural History Museum at Balboa Park. They offer up their 5 chocolate food facts to spur excitement for the ever popular history of chocolate.
