Mystery of Death Valley

Death Valley is a desert situated in the southwestern United States of America. Located in the Mojave Desert, it features the lowest, driest, and hottest locations in North America.



Lying near the border of California and Nevada, in the Great Basin, the east of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Death Valley constitutes much of Death Valley National Park and is the principal feature of the Mojave and Colorado Deserts Biosphere Reserve. There are many mysterious stories about Death Valley, and let's discover them.

Eureka Sand Dunes



The Eureka Valley Sand Dunes are situated in the southern part of Eureka Valley, in northern Inyo County in eastern California, in the southwestern United States. Although covering an area of only 8 km�, the dunes rise approximately 680 feet above the surrounding valley floor, making them one of the highest dune fields in North America.

Zabriskie Point



Zabriskie Point is a part of Amargosa Range and is located in Death Valley National Park in the United States noted for its erosional landscape. It includes sediments from Furnace Creek Lake, which dried up 5 million years ago.

Wildrose Charcoal Kilns



In Wildrose Charcoal Kilns, wood was harvested locally, packed within the kilns and burned into charcoal, to be used to smelt gold from ore in a processing plant in the desert. 30ft high and 25ft in diameter, Wildrose Charcoal Kilns these are probably the best preserved charcoal kilns in the United States.

Saline Valley



Saline Valley is a large, deep, and arid valley in the northern Mojave Desert of California. Most of it became a part of Death Valley National Park when the park expanded in 1994. It features a number of hot springs in the northeast corner of the valley. The water temperature at the source of these springs averages at 107 �F (42 �C).

Arch is famous scenery of Death Valley with lots of worn mountains and valleys, and it becomes the mystery of Death Valley for visitors.
